gDellLcd

It's been quite a long time since my last blog post. So, i thought i should write one just to let people know i'm alive ;) Anyway, college is starting from monday. This semester is going to be the most difficult one of all. So, i won't be able to spend much of my time on things i like to do. This has been the most productive vacation for me. Heres something i did this vacation:

* gNetconfig - A graphical network configuration tool for Frugalware linux.
* gFpm - Third re-write of the (to-be) Frugalware package manager. I hope to get this done by the end of this year ;)
* Bought a new DELL laptop :D (see pics here)

There were basically two reasons for writing gDellLcd. One being the Gnome brightness applet which never really worked for me. Secondly, i needed a way to brush-up my C++ coding skills. And this was fun. Checkout gDellLcd here -> http://priyank.one09.net/index.php?page=gDellLcd

Presenting the brand new, redesigned Gimmix 0.4.0. It has been redesigned from scratch this time around, and I assure you that its not ripped off from any other player - as have been alleged. Comments on the new UI are greatly appreciated.

Visit gimmix's official website for more screenshots and other information.
